About Game Time
Game Time was created as a way of committing to at least once a month hanging out with friends and playing some games we can all play and enjoy. My mantra was "if I wait for them, they will play".
back to start of pageGeneral Guidelines
Participants can either play on RS Games, join the Zoom call to chat, or both.
The participants of Game Time should be the ones to pick the games they want to play. Please feel free to speak up and request the game you would like to play. The host has no problem picking a game to play if participants are undecided. The Highlight of the Game Time can be suggested by participants, otherwise it will be decided by the host. Remember all are welcome and if someone needs help to participate please reach out for help. All participants deserve respect and participants reserve the right to not play a game if not interested.
FYI: More often than not you will be looking for the RS Games username of "jacques01", but this is subject to change and for reference only for the host username. Although other participants may end up starting games from time to time.
Current Known Accessibility/Usability Issues with The Outpost41 website
I encourage anyone who finds accessibility/usability issues using the Outpost41 website or has ideas to improve the website to reach out and let me know what you found or what you think. This could even include anything that may be misspelled. I can not think of everything or catch everything, your idea may be good and improve the website. I am also open to positive feedback as well. The contact email link is at the bottom of every page on the site, in the footer region of the page.
The following list of issues are what has been discovered so far, the issues are being looked into for remediation. As well these known issues do not block or prevent the content from being read.
- When using Voice Over with safari on iPhone iOS,
The "same page" links in the navigation region after being activated do not take the user to the specified region in the "same page" link. Visually the focus appears to move to the region specified in the "same page" link, but then does not end up moving the focus of the user, 6/25/25 - When using Jaws with Google Chrome on Windows,
When the user is navigating the navigation region using the arrow keys and focus is on one of the "same page" links, after activating the link with the enter key the focus does not always move to the specified region and does not work consistently, 6/25/25.
